I AM writing with grave concerns now, after yet another plane crash in Shoreham.
People have been killed in this incident and let’s not forget the loss of one of our Red Arrows pilots in Bournemouth.
I do believe it’s time to call it a day on air shows being held on and around beaches and built-up areas.
Can you imagine the devastation if this was to occur on Bournemouth seafront or surrounding areas?
I have no objections to air shows, bearing in mind my father-in-law is a retired aircraft designer/engineer, but I do now believe they should be confined to proper airfields where there are emergency services on site and they can fly away from these built-up areas.
