WHEN asked by the Inspectorate if Poole Agenda 21 always supported windfarms on principle, I mentioned the very inappropriately sited one opposed by Dr Rodger and referred to by P.A.Dewhurst (Letters, May 8).
Mr Dewhurst quotes the inaccurate figure of 87 per cent opposing Navitus when in fact only 2,000 out of 400,000 plus have objected.
John Searle (Letters, May 9) expresses concern for local marine life, but Biodiversity on Earth is now imperilled as never before with climate change set to wipe out many species as well as our beautiful Jurassic coastline.
A collective swift response is needed to e “expensive and pointless experiment,” that is mankind’s unnecessary flirtation with dirty energy.
With Tesla now offering us a way to store clean electricity supplies we should rejoice that our youngsters could have a less dangerous future.
