I HAVE been reading about the price of tickets for the land train in Bournemouth recently.
For a luxury item they seem to represent very good value for money and I can’t believe anybody can argue that £5 for travelling the whole day is overpriced.
Perhaps some people have become used to free bus travel to such an extent that any charge is too much.
The reality is of course that somebody has to pay for the service and in this case it is either the passenger or the council tax payer.
Compare these charges to the London Tube and you would not get very far for the price.
Furthermore you would not be able to enjoy the stunning views of our wonderful coastline.
