President elected at Cornish group's AGM
BOURNEMOUTH Cornish Association held their AGM on January 14, 2015.
Peter Hambly was elected president for a further year.
Our next get-together will be at the BIC on February 14 for the raising of the Cornish flag to honour the birthday of Capt Lewis Tregonwell, who was of Cornish descent and said to be the founder of Bournemouth.
If there are any Cornish people living in the area who would like to come along at 10.30am on that day and have a chat to us we would be pleased to see them.
We always welcome new members to our association.
