CRAIG Real (‘Killer “victimised” by crime coverage’, Daily Echo January 12) battered an innocent man to death. Now we are supposed to feel sorry for him.

Too right we are. Well, all except the justice system, which once again lets him off.

Once again the victim gets let down. No wonder the world thinks Britain’s a soft touch.
