SERVICE 36, the cross town bus service which links Kinson with Talbot View, is subsidised by both Bournemouth and Poole councils.
It is an extremely useful service to both workers and pensioner residents in Kinson, Wallisdown, Talbot Woods, Westbourne and Branksome.
Apparently, it is partially subsidised by the local authorities and the proposals for alteration are out for consultation.
There is one aspect of the consultation procedure which I find extremely puzzling and I hope that someone in the Bournemouth or Poole Council transportation departments can answer this for me.
The consultation procedure in the Bournemouth council area closes on 13th October, whilst the one in the Poole area closes 5th December.
Presumably this is consultation on the same amendments to the same bus service. Why the different dates?
