CONGRATULATIONS to Bournemouth Borough Council and in particular the parks department on again receiving a gold award at this year’s European Entente Florale competition.
The 11 judges from 11 European countries toured the borough in August this year and on the day scored the town, not only on Bournemouth’s spectacular floral displays and areas of natural outstanding beauty but also on other areas that improve the quality of life for residents and visitors including; environment, development and regeneration, tourism and leisure and community and business involvement in making Bournemouth a great place for visitors and residents.
An award should also be given for keeping the council tax at the same level for the past four years.
