Dorset needs its own king
JOHN Alison’s suggestion that Dorset should leave the United Kingdom is not as daft as it sounds.
Many moons ago King Alfred The Great ruled Wessex and only got the push because he had the misfortune to burn a few cakes which seems a rather harsh punishment for such a trivial offence lt is time to wipe the slate clean and elect another local King and as most ovens have automatic timers these days there would be little risk of history repeating itself.
