I agree with Ken Cole (‘No road tax for Travellers’, August 18) about how travellers seem to be above the Law.

But if he asks why then I’m sure he will be told that it’s just not worth the time or effort and I find that totally unacceptable.

If only the police and Poole Council would adopt tough 100 per cent zero tolerance policy and prosecute them for every single misdemeanour, as they would with any other member of the public, then it won't be long before travellers avoid Poole like the plague!

How many birds with one stone would that be? Are you listening Mr Underhill?
