I WOULD like to express my sincere gratitude to the NHS Direct service and to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
On Saturday my mum experienced tightening of the chest and pains down her arm. She felt nauseous and faint. She did come round after sitting down and sipping some water. However, we decided to phone 111 (NHS Direct) and I can honestly say, the service was outstanding. A paramedic car arrived within eight minutes.
Ian was more than professional with his calm, reassuring manner and his efficient examination.
Later on at the RBH the staff at A&E were first class. The attention and patient care was exemplary.
Staff nurse Carman remained calm and friendly despite finishing a very long shift. Please do not complain about our free health care.
My mum is fine now after such proficient and effective treatment.
Many many thanks.
