I SUSPECT that I am not alone in being totally fed up with the wilder arguments from both camps in the Navitus dispute. Do the ‘antis’ not realise that most of their random, uncoordinated, hypothetical, illogical scaremongering is quickly seen through by anyone with a basic knowledge of geometry, metrology or acoustics?

We even had the joker who suggested that wind resistance from the turbines at that distance would have a doomsday effect on our weather.

The resistance of seven miles of sheer cliff from Sandbanks to Southbourne doesn't seem to be having such a negative effect during the recent spell of fine weather does it?

In turn the ‘pros’ must concede the possible effect on birdlife and realise that a lot of the ‘green’ theory is hypothetical wishful thinking.

So, could we please refrain from some of the wilder exaggerations from both sides and give us a rest.

After all if that nice Mr Cameron has deemed that we are getting Navitus then we are getting Navitus... end of!

And you will know who not to vote for next year !
