I HAVE recently read many letters complaining about people lighting fires, obstructing the promenade and leaving rubbish on the beach.
This often seems to be blamed on young people.
Last Friday I walked from Alum Chine to the pier to see the fireworks, as it was a lovely evening there were lots of people about.
It was so wonderful to see groups of youngsters playing sports, dancing and generally having a good time.
Don’t we always moan that they spend too much time stuck in front of a computer?
Can we not give these folk a break?
They are making the most of the few opportunities we get to enjoy Bournemouth without spending a fortune.
Please, people of Bournemouth lighten up, enjoy life and remember being young.
