I am writing in praise of the Cardiac Unit at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

We seem to live in a time when people only appear to want to criticise and complain but I am writing to advise you of the outstanding treatment I have been given at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

Over the past three months I have undergone various procedures within the cardiac intervention and pacemaker units at the hospital. My treatment, and observations of the work carried out, can only be described as being first-class.

The care provided was of an exceptional standard and, in my opinion, anyone entering these units can be assured that they are in the safest of hands.

The service provided by these units does, no doubt, go a long way to improving peoples’ quality of life and, without the dedication of all the staff, I am sure that some of us may well not be fortunate enough to lead a normal, active life.

Seeing the work done, the long hours cheerfully worked and the cleanliness of the wards I believe we ought to think long and hard before criticising the NHS in this country.

My sincere thanks to all in the cardiac intervention unit.
