REGARDING wind turbines, the truth is that no one knows what the impact on tourism will be if and when the wind turbines are put off the Dorset coast. We cannot keep claiming we need these things and then moan not to have them in our neighbourhood.
Personally, I reckon it will be brilliant for tourism and look stunning out to sea – a real bonus and show the world how advanced we are; how we are trying to aim for the future and we need alternatives and cannot keep making excuses for not building these things.
They are not in your back garden – they are out to sea, and we must clean up the fossil fuels needed to heat our home and use clean alternatives. If you cannot offer alternatives, your opinion is invalid.
