The letter writer recently “disturbed by smokers” raised interesting points but I feel it is important not to tar all smokers with the same brush, if you will excuse the pun.

Only on Sunday I saw a car containing two adults and a child pull up beside me, the driver put a cigarette into his mouth and before lighting up got out of the car.

I mean, that was thoughtful; it was only when they walked to the pavement that I noticed that the smoker was quite evidently pregnant; there must be some logic there I suppose?
