I AM writing this letter in the hope that you might print it and make a certain person feel really bad.
I am an 86-year-old disabled man with many health problems and my eyesight is very poor.
I get around with the help of a mobile chair, and make an every day visit to my local bar when I spend an hour having a couple of pints and a chat with my local pals.
I had sent to me a cap with bright lights in the peak. It was brilliant and really helped me. I was in my local bar called Napoleon’s and, naturally took my cap off whilst inside, and to my great despair and anger someone stole my cap. It just disappeared.
I have asked the landlord and the locals if they have seen it or if they saw anyone take it but to no avail. I am totally lost without it and cannot get around so well anymore.
How could anyone be so mean? I have never seen another one like it, and it was a present to me so I don’t know where it was bought, possibly abroad.
I only hope that if you can help me by printing this letter at least the thief may realise what they have done to an old man and may just return it to me.
