Wind farms objection
I HAVE just seen pictures of what the wind turbines would look like on the far horizon – indisputably horrible. I love the beautiful line of the horizon between the sea and the sky.
They will ruin this view. It looks as if the horizon is sprinkled with what looks like little itsy bitsy pieces of black tin tacks. Very tacky.
My biggest objection to wind farms however is that they are useless when there is no wind and even when power is produced there is no way the power can be stored. I believe some companies are giving up the idea of wind farms.
