I HAVE been corresponding with the Highways Agency concerning Canford Bottom roundabout, with little response.
Light synchronisation is poor – even on green, cars block your route.
It has not done the job it was intended to do – ease traffic flow along the A31. There are still queues every day, often past the West Moors Junction.
Directional lane signage on the floor is covered by waiting cars – hanging signs are needed.
Hatching of junctions is inconsistent.
Finally it is an utter eyesore with grass and weeds 6ft high. A wonderful welcome to Dorset! No landscaping provision was put in place in a £7m project! Wimborne residents are disgusted.
I informed the Highways Agency on Friday September 13 that I was meeting my MP, Chris Chope on October 26 – did they wish to join me?
Saturday September 14 at 7am there were six men strimming the grass down.
