AT LONG last the council has seen sense. It’s been a long time coming. The horrendous so called bus station is to return hopefully to its original site in Exeter Road. It’s a total disaster where it is at present.
If this comes to pass, I would like to see shops and a restaurant and a good booking office etc.
The old bus station was a pleasure to use. I remember having a good lunch and shopping, before boarding a bus at the correct bus stop. At the moment the buses are tightly packed, they often don’t reach the correct bus stop.
Come on, at least do one thing right. While your about, how about replacing our long lost ice rink in Westover Road!
That would put a feather in your cap.
