I WRITE to express the greatest appreciation to the Echo in the way it has supported and covered features during Neighbourhood Watch Week 2013.
The Week was launched by the Dorset Police and Crime Commissioner, Martyn Underhill, and I cannot speak more highly of the way your newspaper has assisted in bringing the various issues relating to personal safety and home security to the wider community.
In Bournemouth we are most fortunate to have such a paper as in the Echo and especially in the way it works to assist in building a better and safer community.
In a world where many are quick to criticise, it is only also right to give credit where it is due. Neighbourhood Watch Week in the West Cliff Area has been excellent event and it is only in working together to build a better and safer community can that goal be achieved. The Echo has certainly achieved that goal this past week in what they have done. Thank you
CHRIS COLLEDGE, West Cliff Neighbourhood Watch coordinator
