INDIVIDUALS with chronic pain (pain in any area of the body that has lasted for over three months) are needed to take part in research that investigates the psychological aspects involved in chronic pain.
Your participation will require one visit to the School of Psychology at the University of Southampton, which will last approximately 75 minutes. During this time, we will ask you to complete two different computer tasks, followed by a series of questionnaires.
All procedures are non- invasive and non-painful. This piece of research is a dissertation project for a Masters Degree of Health psychology at the University of Southampton.
This study has been approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the School of Psychology, University of Southampton.
