WHEN I visited Wimborne to go shopping at the gentlemen’s outfitters, the whole town centre was gaily decorated with bunting and flags. Sadly, many of the Union Flags (Union Jacks) were upside down.
Somebody of some consequence must have authorised this colourful display.
It’s a pity they didn’t have the wit to know which way up to hoist our national flag.
