WHY so costly to maintain a toilet?
The reported cost of maintaining the 30 toilets in Poole is estimated to be £1.3million in future years which seems enormous (Daily Echo May 16) .
The reputed cost of 1.3million amounts to a weekly cost of £833 per toilet for the weekly maintenance which appears as an absolutely prohibitive cost.
One wonders what unnecessary treatment is envisaged respecting what after all are restricted areas consisting minor one-storey buildings, such as a weekly spray of a sweet smelling fragrance etc.
