MY deepest condolences for the very sad loss of Neal Butterworth. I was truly shocked and saddened. I remember seeing Neal walking around Bournemouth last year in his lunch hour.
I went up to him and said “Oh my, you are famous, aren’t you?” He said: “Don’t be silly, I work for the Echo.”
Being silly, I replied that he was absolutely gorgeous. He blushed and walked off saying thank you. A truly lovely man who unfortunately got taken away too soon. My deepest condolences to his family.
