HAVING just read another report in tonight’s Echo (May 1) about Cllr Dion’s remark, I would like to say in her defence, have the rest of the council not got anything better to do than go on worrying about it?
What she said was a reasonable remark, maybe not totally possible but indeed right.
I have worked in retail all my life and goods do come back with the phrase, ‘they are not fit for purpose’ as they are faulty. The same applies to the Twin Sails, at the moment it does not appear ‘fit for purpose’.
As a local resident for all but four years of my life, I do have concerns as to what it will cost us as a ratepayer! I do not feel Poole should take it on until it is fit for purpose and not forever breaking down.
