I WOULD like to express my congratulations and pride in the accomplishments of Poole Town FC this season. Winning the league and cup double is a tremendous achievement.
I travel home and away with the club and find the supporters to be the most loyal and supportive in the league and are the envy of other clubs.
It is about time the people of Poole along with the local council got behind the club for next season when they return to the Southern Premier League. The club have great players, a great management team and a superb board of directors to keep the club on an even financial keel. Pride of Dorset - they most certainly are!
