I AM watching the funeral of Margaret Thatcher at this moment – let’s pause – a politician whom some may not agree with – but the flowers on the coffin were for a “Beloved Mother”.
Whatever our views – and I believe without Margaret Thatcher we would no longer have charge of the Falkland Islands – she was a woman and a mother – whose ambitions were “not for turning”. I wonder how many mothers have achieved what she did. Certainly not me!
We respect you Margaret and may you rest in peace.
