AS an ex-architectural student from Cardiff and a keen art and craft follower, I wondered if the space now created from the Imax could be used to bring both artists/crafts people within Dorset together.
A building which could interact with its immediate surroundings, taking in the views and making use of the ample pedestrian area (relative to the Pompidou centre in Paris) could attract many people from around the county and also add to the tourist attractions that Bournemouth already has to offer.
A venue which can be used all year round not just in the summer is required. Let us learn from what other cities and towns have done notably Cardiff, Bristol and Brighton.
