COME on citizens of Christchurch and surrounding areas. We have got to do something about this atrocious decision about Christchurch Hospital.
My husband and I often go to Christchurch Hospital for blood tests, together with half the population of Dorset, it seems.
If anyone has been to the hospital for this reason they will know it can take up to two hours to be seen.
The number of people going to this venue is huge and can you ever imagine those numbers descending on Bournemouth hospital every day to be added on to their already huge footfall of people?
What about the people who can’t get to Bournemouth direct? Do they have to wait hours for buses?
Have these councillors ever had to go to Christchurch to have blood taken or are they able to pay for private treatment?
It certainly seems as though they are totally out of touch with what is so important to the local people.
