I HAVE seen much anecdotal discussion of NHS failings, but in the past five years, following cancer and internal burns from radiotherapy, I cannot fault the treatment I have had, both medical and psychological.

I have been treated by specialists at Southampton General, Christchurch, Bournemouth, Poole and Salisbury.

I have had all my appointments within 10 minutes of the time specified. Some of the treatment has been painful but bearable because there has been someone with me to talk me through it.

The New Forest Disability Information Service has been a goldmine of good advice and practical help.

My sole complaint is that there is nothing to complain about.
