THERE has been so much talk recently regarding the letting off of fireworks, mostly from pensioners complaining about them being let off outside of Bonfire Night.
Don’t they ever consider that people have other times to celebrate such as birthdays, parties, New Year etc?
They worry about dogs and all sorts of animals being frightened by the noise which, in their eyes, happens far too often (probably once or twice a year).
Can I suggest they have a holiday to Spain? Then they will know what fireworks and noise is like.
Anyway, do these people still keep their dogs in a kennel in the garden?
By the way I am a pensioner, have a dog and enjoy a good firework display here and in Spain.
