ON Monday night, December 17, I was walking along Highcliffe beach back towards the Isle of Wight and from the clifftop out to the sea saw what myself and my friend thought must be a meteor.
It was bright, quite low in the sky, with a massive long tail and lasted about six seconds before disappearing.
I'm interested to know if anyone else has reported seeing it, and would like to find out exactly what it it. I thought a meteor, someone has said it could be the International Space Station.
Any information would be greatly appreciated, as it was a spectacular sight! Many thanks.
