RECENTLY there has been some talk of a ‘One Class’ postal system. Personally I have used second class for birthday cards and the like, first class for post containing cheques etc and I am not worried about the change, but I would like my incoming post to be delivered well before 2pm, as it is sometimes now!
In the past, even the second post of the day arrived by 11am. A large proportion is junk mail these days and goes straight in the bin.
