AT the age of nearly 60 I did not expect to be “blown away” by a local band named ‘Tin Cats’ who played at Parkstone Labour Club on November 10.
They played quietly through the decades, faithfully recreating songs from Elvis, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac and Snow Patrol, to name only a few.
Each band member bursting with talent and unaware, maybe, of their collective power to move people and create first class music.
I can only hope that they are working on creations of their own and will soon bring original music of a high calibre to this beautiful part of the country.
DAVID GENESE, Parkstone
