IN response to report on page 12 of Friday’s Echo (Hospital staff made me wait seven hours). My recent experience of the Royal Bournemouth Hospital couldn’t have been more different to Mr Hands’.

Last week, completely out of the blue, I suffered a brain haemorrhage. From the moment the 999 call was made, to leaving the hospital two days later, my treatment was rapid, professional and caring. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for all those NHS staff who were there for me in my time of need.
