PIRATES promoter Matt Ford confirmed Stewart Dickson is set to stand in for resident team manager Neil Middleditch at Leicester on Monday.
Dickson recently resigned from his position at SGB Championship Glasgow Tigers and will temporarily come in for Middleditch, who is unavailable as he is fulfilling commitments abroad.
Ford said: "Stewart's success made him an obvious choice in Neil's absence. I can only hope with his broad Glaswegian accent the boys can understand him!"
Pirates will be looking to get their campaign off and running after all of their fixtures so far this year have succumbed to poor weather, directly or indirectly.
