PIRATES' scheduled clash with SGB Premiership leaders Belle Vue tomorrow has been postponed.
With wet weather forecast to hit Wimborne Road, it was decided calling off the meeting was in both parties' best interests.
Poole chief Matt Ford told the club website: "Mark Lemon and I couldn't find an encouraging forecast between us.
"To avoid having to make the inevitable call tomorrow, we agreed that the correct thing to do was to call it off early.
"It does mean we will have to race at home twice in a week at some stage before the cut-off and we will make an announcement on a restaging date once it has been finalised."
