NICOLAI Klindt will tomorrow undergo a scan to determine the extent of the damage to his knee after he crashed in a Polish second-tier meeting in Daugavpils.
Krakow racer Klindt sustained the injury and concussion in a collision with home rider Siergiej Logaczow, which left him out cold.
After receiving lengthy attention on the track at the Latvian venue, the Pirates reserve was taken to hospital for further examination.
While medics believe the Dane has not broken any bones, concerns remain and a scan should provide further information on how long he will be out for.
Klindt will certainly miss Poole’s next two fixtures – the clash with SGB Premiership leaders Wolverhampton on Wednesday and the trip to play-off chasers Belle Vue on Friday.
Promoter Matt Ford tonight confirmed Leicester’s Josh Bates would guest in both meetings.
