HANS Andersen has fuelled speculation he is on his way back to Pirates following a cryptic post on Twitter.
The Danish flier posted a series of emojis in a tweet with a skull and crossbones positioned next to the British flag and the year 2017 also included.
The tweet intensified rumours Andersen had secured his return to Poole, as well as securing team places at Polish club Lodz, Danish outfit Munkebo and Swedish side Lejonen.
When Andersen joined Poole ahead of the 2016 season, Pirates chief Matt Ford said he expected the experienced charger to remain in Dorset for two years "on the understanding British speedway does not throw up anything untoward in its rules”.
Speaking to the Daily Echo prior to last week's historic AGM, at which a string of rules were changed, Andersen said: "I'm guaranteed to come back for next season. I'm really looking forward to it and I'm pretty excited to see what sort of team we have again.
"The one we had this year was a good mix of youth and experience and I had a really good time with the boys."
