WILL Croker wants Bournemouth to showcase their National Three South West credentials when they take on strugglers Bromsgrove at Chapel Gate tomorrow (2.30pm).

Head coach Croker watched mid-table Lions push big-hitters Camborne to the limit last weekend and now wants a similar performance, and a better result, against basement side Bromsgrove.

He told the Daily Echo: “This week it’s about doing everything we did well last Saturday and bringing it to a home match against Bromsgrove and putting on a bit of spectacle.

“What’s frustrating is that we have performed better against the better sides. Had we won against Salisbury, Bracknell and Dings, the league table would look entirely different.

“Fortunately, there is still a long way to go.

“After Saturday’s performance we don’t fear anyone because we know the best team in this league are eminently beatable. We now have to take the confidence from that and show people we are worthy of being considered in the top few places in this league.”

Bromsgrove have six points on the board so far this term. The Boars suffered a body blow when they were docked five points by the RFU following an administration error over petrol receipts.

Croker added: “We know very little about them.

"They are an unknown quantity for us.”

Lions: Hancox, Edwards, Everett-Bolter, Chislett, Roberts, Boyd, Hardcastle, Spikings, Richardson, Firetto, Treloar, Kenneally, Hennings, McDonald, Rees. Replacements: Davies, Levey, Manning.
