ELLINGHAM & Ringwood & Totton ladies earned a 27-10 win over Hornettes to remain top of National Challenge South West One.
Weston-super-Mare outfit Hornettes bagged an early try but Es wing Amy Jones levelled it up.
Home centre Paige Darvill-White then notched a fine individual score and Chloe Barrett converted, before Hornettes reduced to 12-10 the lead.
Midway through the second half, Abbie Burke picked a great line and touched down for the hosts.
Hornettes pressed for a converted try in an attempt to draw level but in the closing minutes, Amy Shipley nailed a breakaway score.
Ellingham declined the conversion opportunity to fit the restart in and that paid off when Es captain Charlotte Benson intercepted a pass and ran 50 metres to score the bonus-point try.
