London 2012: Dorset windsurfer Nick Dempsey takes silver in the RS:X class
Windsurfer Nick Dempsey has won the silver medal in the RS:X Men’s medal race in home waters.
The gold was out of reach before the final race even began due to the lead held by Dutch star Dorian Van Rijsselberge.
Weymouth's Dempsey, 31, sailed into second place on the Nothe course watched by a huge crowd who had assembled despite poor weather.
