DORSET'S Georgia Hall admitted she had played "great golf" en route to her fourth top-10 finish in a row on the Ladies' European Tour.

The 20-year-old, who is based in Wimborne, carded back-to-back rounds of 68 at Doha GC to finish in a tie for seventh at the Qatar Ladies' Open.

Ending on eight under overall, Hall banked more than £11,200 to retain fourth place in the order of merit and fuel an inevitable world rankings rise up from 121st.

Hall tweeted: "Few silly decisions the first two days but played great golf all round!"

Incredibly, Hall has been outside the top 16 just once in her past nine tournaments on tour, having failed to make the cut at the Women's British Open at Woburn in July.

The former Curtis Cup star has racked up £130,000 on the circuit and is second in the LET Solheim Cup rankings, headed only by Denmark's Emily Kristine Pedersen.

Hall is due to tee it up at The Queens in Japan later this week, representing the LET in the team event against the LPGA of Japan, Korean LPGA Tour and Australian Ladies' Professional Golf.

The tournament is due to be held at Miyoshi Golf and Country Club in Aichi from Friday until Sunday.
