BOURNEMOUTH'S Georgia Hall admitted strong results in Australia had set her up well for a positive year on the Ladies' European Tour.
The 19-year-old is due to tee it up at Mission Hills in China tomorrow at the World Ladies' Championship.
She heads into the £571,000 tournament on the back of an impressive start to the year which included a win at the Victorian Open – her second professional triumph – and a top-10 finish at the Australian Open.
Hall said: "February was an absolutely great month and great preparation for the year ahead.
"I learned a lot and had some really good results so I'm happy with the start I made.
"The win at the Victorian Open wasn't expected and to finish in the top 10 at the Australian Open was really good as well."
Hall is due off at 4.10am BST at the Olazabal Course tomorrow with her second round inked in for 11.30pm BST.
Brokenhurst Manor's Liz Young is also set to take part and will tee it up at 11.50pm BST tonight. Her second round is due to begin at 4.20am BST on Friday.
The Ladies' European Tour takes a two-month break after the tournament in China, returning for the Lalla Meryem Cup in May.
