PARKSTONE-attached Georgia Hall made the cut by the narrowest possible margin at her first Ladies’ European Tour event as a professional.
The Kinson-based ace, who relinquished her amateur status eight months ago, shot a one-over-par second round at the Lalla Meryem Cup in Morocco.
That placed Hall on three-over after two rounds at Golf De L’Ocean in Agadir, the lowest total that secured players an extended stay at the tournament.
It was a close call, however, as Hall had appeared on her way out until late-afternoon, when from the clubhouse she jumped above the cut line.
Earlier, the ex-Oakmead College pupil had arrived at the turn level following a birdie two at the third and a dropped shot at the sixth.
A bogey at 11 was followed by a gain on 13 but just as a level-par round seemed on the cards, the 18-year-old threw in a bogey four at the last.
The error did not prove expensive, though, as Hall joined Parley Golf Centre-trained Liz Young in the weekend line-up.
Young fired level-par to remain on two-over for the tournament.
