PAULA Henley has left her role as chairperson of Wimborne Town for a second time.

Henley began her current spell at Cuthbury 13 months ago having previously spent 160 days at the helm until February 2015.

A club statement read: "Paula took over as chairperson in January last year and, together with a small consortium, helped turn around the club's fortunes leading to a debt-free position today.

"The reason behind Paula's decision is personal and she has requested privacy at this time as the decision has not been an easy one for her to make."

Henley has also resigned her position on the board of directors.

President Ken Stewart and former board member Tony Grant will cover for Henley while the club seeks a replacement.
