LYMINGTON returned to the top of the ECB British Gas Southern Premier League – by three points over South Wilts – after Hampshire prospect Calvin Dickinson blasted them to a seven-wicket win over St Cross Symondians at the Green Jackets Ground.
Isle of Wight-raised Dickinson smashed four sixes and six fours, plundering 20 off one over from spinner Charlie Ayres, as Lymington chased down a 132-run target.
His unbeaten 65 swept Lymington to victory with time to spare.
Earlier, a mean spell by Guy Layman, who initially took three wickets for one run, had St Cross in difficulty at 58 for five.
Harry Came bailed them out with a fine 57, but was one of four victims for Darren Cowley, who celebrated his first game in 12 months with a four for 20 return.
Dom Hand (26) played the support role for Dickinson.
