CHERRIES winger Ryan Fraser admits he would love to win 100 caps for Scotland.
The former Aberdeen star last week made his second appearance for the Tartan Army in their 1-0 friendly defeat to the Netherlands at Pittodrie.
Brought on as a second-half replacement for James Forrest by interim boss Malky Mackay, Fraser looked lively during his 19 minutes on the field.
And the 23-year-old, who was largely overlooked by previous Scotland manager Gordon Strachan, is aiming to become a regular in the international set-up.
Fraser told the Evening Express: “Malky Mackay is saying 'try to get to 50 caps or 100' and that’s what I’m going to try to do.
“I’ve just got to keep doing what I’m doing at Bournemouth, make more of an impact down there this season and go from there.
“It’s more publicised down there than up here. No disrespect to the Scottish Premiership, it’s a good league, but I’m up against the world’s best.
“Every team you come up against you try to find a weak spot, you think ‘who are we going to play on?’. But there is no weak spot, everyone is just as good.
“ I try to do my best and if I can prove myself in that league then I’m on the right track.”
