EDDIE Howe is relishing pitting his wits against the current breed of Premier League super-bosses, saying "bring them on".

Former Juventus and Italy manager Antonio Conte brings Chelsea to Vitality Stadium tomorrow (5.30pm), three days after Cherries earned a notable 2-2 draw at Jurgen Klopp-led Liverpool.

And it does not get any easier next week, with a trip to Tottenham, managed by Mauricio Pochettino, on the agenda.

Howe told the Daily Echo: "If you don’t relish these moments and these games, then there is something wrong.

"We want to compete against the very best, that is where we want to pit ourselves.

"If we can get the best players and the best managers to come to the Premier League, then bring them on.

"It will improve the standard of football and everyone's learning and development – and it will make us all better.

"You learn from these games more than any others. They are great occasions for the club and the players."

Cherries plucked a point from Anfield on Wednesday courtesy of Joshua King's rousing 87th-minute equaliser.

And Howe was convinced his team's expanding list of successes against some of the Premier League's behemoth clubs – they have beaten Everton and Liverpool, and drawn with Tottenham and Manchester United this term – inspired their late rally on Merseyside.

By extension, he is certain the dramatic conclusion to the game against Klopp's men will serve as a valuable tool for Cherries further down the line.

"The signs are really good for us," said Howe. "It took the win at Chelsea last season to really get the players to believe we could win anywhere in the division.

"And the results against the big teams this season have reinforced the belief that we can go anywhere and get results.

"That showed when we were 2-1 down at Liverpool. We believed we could score and we did. That will help us in future games."

King was joined on the scoresheet at Anfield by Benik Afobe. The pair have not looked back since Howe partnered them in attack at Manchester United last month, sharing seven goals as Cherries have embarked on a five-match unbeaten run.

"The Liverpool game followed the pattern of their recent form," said Howe. "They have been key figures for us in our upturn in results and I cannot praise them highly enough.

"I thought the two goals were really good finishes. People probably won’t talk much about Benik’s but, on his wrong side, in front of the Kop, I thought that was an outstanding finish with his left foot.

"Then Josh, with the clock ticking, and him knowing that might well be our last chance, swivelled and hit it superbly."
