EDDIE Howe is hopeful winger Junior Stanislas will be out for weeks rather than months.

Stanislas limped out of last Sunday's 4-3 win over Liverpool at Vitality Stadium having sustained an ankle problem.

Speaking ahead of tomorrow's trip to Burnley, Howe said: "He will be out this weekend. We're hopeful it's not months. It will be weeks. The scan revealed good news.

"There is some damage to the ankle so fingers crossed it won't be too long."

Howe confirmed full-back Charlie Daniels had trained but admitted Andrew Surman was still sidelined with a hamstring problem.
